Ramzi Touchan
Emeritus Research Professor • Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research & School of Natural Resources and the Environment, University of Arizona
Ramzi’s research, teaching, and outreach over several decades have expanded the dendrochronology and dendroclimatology knowledge base. His work integrates tree-ring science to improve understanding of the natural environment and informs the management of water and other natural resources. Ongoing efforts include networks of tree-ring chronologies to study large-scale patterns of climate variability across the Mediterranean Basin, North America, and Russia.
